STATE OF EMERGENCY (SOE)
STATE OF EMERGENCY (SOE) is a Charlotte, NC based program of the Lionel Lee Jr. Center for Wellness (LLCW), funded (in part) by the United Way of Central Carolinas, and the Tides Foundation. SOE was created for & by Black Transgender Women to empower Black Transgender Women (BTW).

SOE has three (3) areas of service:
A state-of-the-art website designed by BTW, for BTW.
A glossy print magazine edited & published by BTW, for BTW.
The SOE Emergency Assistance Fund to support BTW in crisis.
HELP EMPOWER A BTW TODAY!
The American Medical Association (AMA) describes the violence against Black Transgender Women as an epidemic. Too many BTW are homeless or living in socio-economic crisis.

Make a tax-exempt donation to the SOE Emergency Assistance Fund.

The Lionel Lee Center for Wellness is a 501c3 not-for-profit community based organization. In the Message section, write “SOE” and your full legal name.
